Eco Clipper delivers high-capacity autonomous mowing systems that combine cutting-edge robotics with proven electric mowing technology. Our autonomous solutions include the dedicated AM Series models (AM3 with 3.09m and AM5 with 5.13m cutting widths), plus the FM6 (6.15m) specially configured for AgXeed autonomous tractors. When Does High-Capacity Autonomous Mowing Pay Off?

Mowing costs are primarily driven by three factors: labor hours, logistics (field-to-field transport and waiting time), and operational availability—how many hours per day you can actually mow. High-capacity autonomous mowing transforms this equation by reducing labor requirements and extending operational windows, enabling work during extended hours and weekends while your team focuses on other priorities.

Based on Area Size:

  • Under 30 hectares: High-capacity autonomous mowing typically not cost-effective due to initial investment versus limited area coverage.
  • 30-50 hectares: Consider autonomous systems depending on operational constraints, labor costs, and site logistics.
  • Over 50 hectares (contiguous or that can be clustered): Strong ROI for autonomous mowing through significant labor savings and extended operational capacity.

High-Capacity Mowing Solutions

Eco Clipper offers two routes for autonomous mowing with high capacity up to 6 ha/h:

  • Eco Clipper AM - dedicated autonomous mowers with 309 or 513 cm working width
  • Eco Clipper FM6 AgXeed - Eco Clipper FM6 systems integrated with AgXeed autonomous 3 or 4-wheel tractors

Compliance & Safety

Safe operation in the field, without an operator

To operate a large autonomous mower at working speeds of up to 16 km/h without an operator, a proven safety system is essential. In collaboration with AgriRobot and with the support of Ri.se, we have developed a certifiable safety system for the Eco Clipper AM.

The Eco Clipper AM’s safety solution combines fused sensors for obstacle detection and geofencing. These sensors are designed with individual safety levels and together form a complete safety solution in compliance with ISO 18497 (safety of highly automated agricultural machines) and ISO 13849 / ISO 25119 (functional safety requirements for agricultural machinery).
